This collection is inspired by one of the greatest artists of the 20th century - Martiros Saryan. While recalling his trip across Turkey, Egypt, and Iran in 1910-1913, he was telling: “I had a goal - to understand the East, to find its characteristic features in order to further substantiate my searches in painting. I wanted to convey the realism of the East, to find convincing ways of depicting this world ... to reveal its new artistic understanding….” These words inspired us to create these pieces of art that you look at.
